Verolex Professional Engagement
How Verolex Establishes Professional Work
Professional Engagement determines what should happen. Before professional
work moves into execution, Verolex establishes the objective, audience,
relevant Professional Services, scope, and delivery model for the engagement.
These decisions create the governed basis upon which Professional Execution
may proceed.
Professional Work Begins With Engagement
Verolex does not begin professional work by selecting a tool, opening a
workflow, or producing a result. It begins by establishing the professional
engagement.
Before Professional Execution begins, Verolex identifies:
- The participant's professional objective.
- The participant's professional audience.
- The relevant Professional Services.
- The appropriate delivery model.
- The scope within which the professional work may proceed.
Together, these elements establish the professional engagement and provide
the structure required for governed execution.
What Is Professional Engagement?
Professional Engagement is the stage in which Verolex defines the professional
work before that work is performed.
A participant may arrive with a question, need, opportunity, position,
professional record, communication requirement, institutional objective,
recruiting objective, or other professional purpose. Verolex structures that
purpose so the appropriate services, participants, information, and delivery
method can be identified before execution begins.
The engagement therefore establishes what Verolex is being asked to accomplish
and the boundaries within which the work may proceed.
Establishing the Engagement
1. Professional Objective
Verolex first identifies what the participant is trying to accomplish.
The objective provides the reason for the engagement and the basis for
determining what professional work is relevant.
2. Professional Audience
Verolex identifies the audience involved in or affected by the engagement.
Professional audiences may include attorneys, employers, law schools,
associations, publications, recruiters, and other authorized participants
relevant to the professional objective.
3. Relevant Professional Services
Once the objective and audience are understood, Verolex identifies the
Professional Services that are relevant to accomplishing the objective.
The engagement may involve one service or a coordinated combination of
services.
4. Delivery Model
Verolex determines how the professional work should be delivered. The
delivery model establishes the degree of participant involvement, Verolex
involvement, structure, and operational support appropriate to the
engagement.
5. Scope
The engagement establishes the permitted scope of the professional work,
including what is being requested, which information and services are
relevant, who may participate, and what work may proceed into Professional
Execution.
Engagement Does Not Equal Execution
Establishing a Professional Engagement does not itself perform the requested
work, authorize communication, publish information, create an Authorized
Result, or grant unrestricted operational authority.
It establishes the approved professional context from which governed
Professional Execution may begin.
From Engagement to Execution
Once the professional objective, audience, relevant Professional Services,
delivery model, and scope have been established, the engagement can move
into Professional Execution.
Professional Execution transforms those established decisions into governed
professional work through Services, Records, Communicators, Tasks, Workflows,
Verification, and Authorization.
